"Scent is the point of departure for my world view. You could even say for my life. Scent creates spaces and affects how we act within a space. Scent tells stories and can create conceptions. Scent can awaken us in a sensory manner. Scent can give us body. Scent can give us spirit.

For me, designing a candle begins at the intersection of black and white. A contrast between soft and structured. Once you outline the boundaries, ideas can fan outward where other colors or feelings can be introduced.
